How does the Bring Your Own Device Plan work?

Loyalti's Bring Your Own Device plan (BYOD) allows you to download an app and run your entire loyalty program from your personal iOS or Android device.

✓ No need to learn new hardware. Use your preferred iOS iPad or iPhone OR your Android Samsung Galaxy tablet or smartphone.

✓ Keep counter space clear. Run your loyalty program from the same device you’re already using for your in-store music, social media and other apps.

✓ Go mobile. If you’re a mobile business like a food truck, stylist, or photographer, you can run your entire loyalty program from your smartphone.

✓ Always have the newest version. With an app-based loyalty program, updates are pushed right to your device, providing for a better experience and improved security.

✓ No Wifi? No problem! Enjoy added reliability with caching activity, so even if your internet goes out, you can still run your program because your information is stored locally.

How It Works

BYOD is available with Loyalti’s Pro or Premium plans. Choose your plan and select “Bring Your Own Device” when setting up your rewards structure.

Next, download the Loyalty Center app on your device. 

You’ll receive your stamps within 5-7 business days. Stamp the Loyalty Center welcome screen, and your loyalty program will automatically appear on your device, completely set up and ready to use.

When customers visit your store, they’ll enter their phone number on the checkin screen, and your cashier will stamp the screen to award points and redeem rewards!


Look for this app icon in either the App Store or Google Play Store and download it to your device.


Your Merchant Dashboard and Marketing Suite

You’ll also gain access to Loyalti's Merchant Dashboard, where you can view shopper activity, manage your business and send out email, mobile, and text marketing campaigns to entice customers back to your store.

Pro vs Premium: What’s the difference?

Loyalti’s Pro plan comes with email, mobile and SMS text marketing campaigns. 


The Premium plan adds an AI-powered marketing suite, MMS capabilities (include images and gifs in your texts), and unlimited marketing campaigns.

To run the Loyalty Center app on your personal device, you will need to make sure that your device meets the requirements listed below.


Devices listed under “Minimum requirements” are the oldest possible hardware versions that can run the operating system that supports our app.


Devices listed under “Desirable requirements” are highly recommended to preserve the longevity of your hardware’s compatibility with our app.
